Creating a Quiz
- Inside a module, click + Add Lesson → Quiz
- Enter a quiz title
- Configure quiz settings (see below)
- Add questions
- Click Save Quiz
Quiz Settings
Basic Settings
- Title — Name of the quiz
- Description — Instructions for learners
- Time Limit — Optional countdown timer (e.g., 30 minutes)
Attempts & Scoring
- Passing Score — Minimum percentage to pass (e.g., 80%)
- Attempts Allowed — Number of retakes permitted
- Show Correct Answers — Reveal answers after submission
- Randomize Questions — Different order for each attempt
Progression
- Required to Continue — Must pass before unlocking next lesson
- Required for Certificate — Must pass to receive certificate
Question Types
Multiple Choice
Learner selects one correct answer from options.
- Click + Add Question → Multiple Choice
- Enter the question
- Add answer options (minimum 2, maximum 6)
- Mark the correct answer
- (Optional) Add explanation shown after answering
Multiple Select
Learner selects all correct answers.
- Click + Add Question → Multiple Select
- Enter the question
- Add options and mark all correct answers
- Set partial credit (optional):
- Full credit only if all correct
- Or partial credit for partially correct
True/False
Simple binary choice.
- Click + Add Question → True/False
- Enter the statement
- Mark whether it's true or false
Short Answer
Learner types a text response.
- Click + Add Question → Short Answer
- Enter the question
- Add accepted answers (comma-separated)
- Set matching mode:
- Exact match
- Contains (keyword matching)
- Manual review required
Essay
Open-ended response requiring manual grading.
- Click + Add Question → Essay
- Enter the prompt
- Set word limit (optional)
- This question requires manual grading
Question Settings
Points
Assign point values to weight question importance.
- Default: 1 point per question
- Increase for harder questions
Feedback
Add explanations shown after the learner answers.
- Correct feedback — Reinforces why the answer is right
- Incorrect feedback — Explains the correct answer
Randomize Options
Shuffle answer choices to prevent memorization.
Question Bank
Save questions for reuse across courses.
Add to Question Bank
- Create a question in any quiz
- Click ⋮ → Add to Question Bank
- Select or create a category
Import from Question Bank
- In quiz editor, click Import from Bank
- Browse or search questions
- Select questions to add
- Click Import
Viewing Results
Individual Results
- Go to Course → Learners
- Click on a learner → Quiz Results
- View their answers and score
Quiz Analytics
- Go to Course → Analytics → Quizzes
- See overall pass rate, average score
- Identify commonly missed questions
